Typically, most cases of skin cancer are basal cell carcinoma. Luckily, this type of cancer is the least dangerous and slowest to form. Squamous cell carcinoma often appears on the lips, face and ears but is also slow to develop. The most dangerous and least common is malignant melanoma, which is often life-threatening.
