The chemical peel is one of many treatments available to help rejuvenate the skin. The chemical peel is applied to the face (and/or neck and hands) to remove the outer layers of damaged skin including acne and acne scars, sun damage, rough or scaly skin patches, irregular skin pigmentation, and fine lines. There are different strengths of chemical peels, from lighter ones that don’t go as far into the layers of the skin, to stronger ones that penetrate deeper into the skin.
